Kicking off this year’s summer concerts is the ultimate Southern jam band, Widespread Panic. After their 2 sold out shows in 2007, the band sought to come back this year for three nights April 18, 19, 20. If you are a fan, these shows are must see.
May 2 brings Kid Rock to Orange Beach, AL. With his rock star celebrity and showmanship, Kid is sure to put on a great show. On May 23, ZZ Top is set to rock the wharf. May 25 brings the country stylings of Taylor Swift and former American Idol contestant, Kellie Pickler, returning after a popular performance in 2007. Ending the month of May with a bang are Rick Springfield and Eddie Money on May 31. These two are sure to bust out some fan favorites.
July 26 is a date to mark on your calendar. Legendary bluesman, B.B. King and legendary country outlaw, Willie Nelson, will be performing in Orange Beach, Alabama at the wharf. No description needed here. Unless you have been on the moon for the last 40 or so years, I don’t need to tell you who these guys are.
The month of August brings a variety of music to Orange Beach. Crosby, Stills and Nash will be performing on August 5. On August 6, Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick will all be performing. Don’t miss this guitar spectacle. Finally, Sugarland comes to the Wharf on August 16.
