If you were wondering if it is a good time to visit Gulf Shores or Orange Beach, AL, fret no more. We are here and open for business! The Alabama Gulf Coast was spared of any damage from Hurricane Gustav as it made landfall earlier this week. Thankfully, our beautiful beaches were not affected. The sea oats renourishment project has made a great impact on our dunes, which are nature’s natural barriors to storm surge. The Alabama Gulf Coast has some great fall events this year, such as the 37th Annual National Shrimp Festival, Oct. 9-12, in Gulf Shores, and many more. Check back often for updates.
