Looking for a fun family outing complete with waterfront dining and tons of live music? Then get ready for the 7th annual LuLuPalooza at Lulus at Homeport Marina located in beautiful Gulf Shores, Alabama.
This Memorial Day Weekend, feel free to sit back and relax at the legendary waterside restaurant, while some of the area’s most successful musicians keep your entire family dancing the night away.
The weekend’s first headliner, Soul Rebels Brass Band, hits the main stage at 4 pm on Saturday afternoon, a time slot you will not want to miss. The Soul Rebels, originally from New Orleans, have earned the right to boast their skills after opening for acts such as The Roots, Jimmy Page, Green Day and Better than Ezra. This funk and jazz based group may be classically trained, but their upbeat shows are sure to entertain everyone.
Let the funky grooves continue with Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes, hitting the stage at 6:30 pm on Saturday. Fueled by hysterical on-stage antics accompanied by costumes and the occasional removal of garments, Johnny Sketch and his band always come to entertain (fear not – it’s all family friendly).
Sunday brings the big guns with Randall Bramblett hitting the stage at 5 pm followed by Paul Thorn at 7:30.
Bramblett, best known for his work with Rock N’ Roll greats Traffic and Bonnie Raitt is getting behind his fourth solo album with record label New West Records. He may still be the same jazz rocker from the 70’s but he is in no way resting on his laurels. Get ready for a solid performance by a music industry great!
Paul Thorn is going to bring the festival to a close with his super cool rock styling and smooth persona. This retired professional boxer and Tupelo, MS based minister’s son definitely brings both sides of the spectrum to his shows. With a touring repertoire that features names such as Jeff Beck, Toby Keith and Sting, Paul is guaranteed to offer something fun for everyone.
