The 16th annual Symphony by the Sea is set for December 14 at the Grand Hotel Marriot Resort in Point Clear, AL. The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra returns again this year after a wonderful performance at the 2007 event. Symphony by the Sea is an annual fundraiser for the United Way of Baldwin County.
“Having the Symphony back on the water was our goal,” said Leonard Kaiser, chariman of the United Way Symphony by the Sea Committee. “There’s no better atmosphere during the Christmas season than the Grand. Raising money for United Way agencies is more important than ever this year, and this event will be a big part of making that happen.”
A reception and silent auction will be held before the concert. Last year’s event was the first to raise over $1 million locally. For more information contact the United Way of Baldwin County offices in Foley at 251-943-2110 or Bay Minette at 251-937-9600. Tickets are on sale at both offices, as well as at Kaiser Realty in Gulf Shores, AL.
